Karol Wojtyla
at the Angelicum
The presence of the young Wojtyla at our university can be celebrated in no better way than by republishing his doctorate thesis, along with introduction and commentary from important Dominican experts. The book will be presented early in the academic year 2009-2010, as the centerpiece of a conference involving leading representatives of ecclesiastical and academic life and focused on the historical situation and the cultural life of Rome in the late 1940’s, bringing to life again the environment in which the young Wojtyla studied.
